Google Calendar’s ‘focus time’ can auto-block meeting requests

Hinterhaus Productions via Getty ImagesInordinate meetings were formerly a problem before the epidemic, and they are indeed further of a problem as remote work enters the mainstream. How do you set away time for your own systems? As The Verge reports, Google has a simple answer make it clear you should be left alone. It’s rolling out a” focus time” point in Google Timetable that not only indicates your status, but can voluntarily bus- block meeting requests for that time niche.

You can choose a special color for focus time. Those moments will also be included in your Time Perceptivity to help you ameliorate your meeting-to- work rate. The point will take up to 15 days to reach Google Workspace druggies on the rapid-fire track, and those services on listed releases will see their change starting November 3rd.

Google is eventually hopping on a trend. Microsoft included a Focus Sessions point in Windows 11 to help people work in shorter but further effective spurts. With that said, you presumably will not complain about another tool. This could make the difference between a last- nanosecond detention and meeting a deadline.
